Ultra Hold Roll TapeExtended Wear* New Packaging: Reusable Plastic Clamshell 1/2" x 3" Yard Roll Tape Ultra Hold Tape is used to attach your wig or hair system.... Super tacky, super flexible, super long lasting. Extended wear 2-4 weeks* depending on temperature, humidity, body oils and chemistry. If you like SuperTape then give this tape a try, you just might love it!!! Double sided, clear tape with a matte finish for NO SHINE through lace bases. It has a texture or "finger print" that helps cut down on shine (see photo). Waterproof so you can shampoo, swim and exercise.Use tape alone, it removes easily with solvent...no messy residue or use along with Ultra Hold glue or another adhesive for the longest hold. These more tacky tapes may require more skill to apply. Photos: First three photos show this product (not to scale); other photos show the tape fingerprint texture and another compares the roll widths side by side, Left to Right: 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1 1/2". Recommendations: Always do a skin test before using any new adhesive: place small piece of tape behind ear or inside the arm, just below the bend. Leave on for up to 24 hours, checking for any signs of irritation. Remove immediately and discontinue use if irritation occurs. For the best and longest hold always start with clean, dry hair system and skin. Remove excess oil by wiping skin with rubbing alcohol where adhesive will be, let dry before applying tape or glue. Apply Thick Scalp Protector for longer hold time and to help protect skin from irritation. Brand new wigs and hair systems may need to be washed before use to remove manufacturing treatments that can irritate skin and interfere with tape or glue sticking. *Hold time is only an estimate, varies from one individual to another and 1 in 100 people have problems getting tape to reasonably stick to their scalp, so this is only an estimate. Shampooing, swimming, perspiration, humidity, body oils and acids all affect the adhesion time.
